    Description

    Tapered plugs are the most cost effective product to plug holes, both threaded and non-threaded, that need to be masked. Most often a tapered plug is used to plug "blind holes" that do not go all the way through a part. You will receive the following sizes and quantities:

    Typical Application: Plugging in Powder Coating, E-Coating, Anodizing and Some Plating Applications. Specifications: Maximum Temperature (F) is 600. These silicone tapered stoppers are the industry standard for general purpose powder coating applications.  Helpful hints:  Make sure the major diameter of the plug is at least 15% larger than the hole diameter.  The minor diameter should be at least 15% smaller than the hole diameter.
