    This is a rare autographed single page menu from the 43rd Birthday Party Celebration for ANGELA LANSBURY presented by the cast and crew of the Original Broadway production of the
    JERRY HERMAN, JEROME LAWRENCE and ROBERT E. LEE musical "DEAR WORLD" at New York's Mamma Leone's Ristorante on October 16th, 1968. (The production would open February 6th, 1969 at the Mark Hellinger Theatre in New York City and run for only 132 performances.) ..... The musical starred ANGELA LANSBURY (who signed the front of the menu) and featured JANE CONNELL, CARMEN MATHEWS, MICHAEL KERMOYAN, KURT PETERSON, PAMELA HALL, MICHAEL DAVIS, GENE VARRONE, CHARLES WELCH, ZALE KESSLER, PETER WALKER, MIGUEL GODREAU, JOE MASIELL, TED AGRESS, TY McCONNELL and MILO O'SHEA ..... Side Note: ANGELA LANSBURY would receive the 1969 Tony Award for "Best Actress in a Musical" for this role ..... The menu measures 6" X 9 1/4" inches, includes the wonderful "Dear World" graphics and was signed by ANGELA LANSBURY. The backside is blank. The menu will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity ..... CONDITION: With the exception of small edge tears and a chip in the lower right corner, this rare menu is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
