    This is a rare eight page advertising herald (flyer) promoting the three-night,
    Post-Broadway engagement of the JOHN COLTON and CLEMENCE RANDOLPH play "RAIN" at the Lyceum Theatre in Rochester, New York beginning September 25th, 1924. (The production opened November 7th, 1922 at Maxine Elliot's Theatre in New York City and ran for 648 performances before going on the road.) ..... Based on the W. SOMERSET MAUGHAM story, "Miss Thompson", the play starred JEANNE EAGELS as "Sadie Thompson" and featured WILMA THOMPSON, HOWA OWA, K. A. CONDITION: With the exception of minor rust marks at the staples, this rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
