    Original Broadway production of the ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER and TIM RICE musical hit "JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR" at the Mark Hellinger Theatre in New York City. (The production opened October 12th, 1971 and ran for 711 performances.) ..... The musical starred JEFF FENHOLT in the title role, YVONNE ELLIMAN as "Mary Magdalene" and BEN VEREEN as "Judas Iscariot" and the cast included BERRY DENNEN, PAUL AINSLEY, BOB BINGHAM, CHARLOTTE CROSSLEY, TED NEELEY (who would star as "Jesus" in the 1973 film adaptation), SAMUEL E.
