    Description

In 1988 Nancy Reagan presented a "Gala Concert and Dinner Dance" to benefit the Creo Society Fund for Children with AIDS, and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Broadway musical HAIR. This is the official program (cover designed by Keith Haring) from this event, held at the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations. Included also is the insert listing the acts, table sponsors (Benefactors, Patrons, Contributors, etc.,) along with production staff, special thanks, etc. This is definitely a collectable piece of art, social and political history. Turns out, the event was a financial controversy as well: https://www.nytimes.com/1988/11/21/nyregion/gala-charity-faces-inquiry-over-funds.html
The very back of the program is two crescent marks (see photo). The program DOES NOT have a pink hue to it - that is the natural sunset lighting when I took the pictures. Please see photos for its overall, excellent condition. There is no reserve on this auction, thank you and good luck! (Shipping only to the United States and Canada.)
On Aug-25-21 at 08:52:48 PDT, seller added the following information:
Program size is 8.5" x 11"  Addendum to the small crescent-shaped marks: They are very small; the largest is 1/4" in length, and just a fine hair in width. Thanks!
