This is a beautiful souvenir program from the Broadway revival of the MAE WEST comedy "DIAMOND LIL" starring MAE WEST. (The production opened February 5th, 1949 at New York's Coronet Theatre, but suspended performances February 26th, 1949 when Miss West broke her ankle. The show reopened September 7th, 1949 at the Plymouth Theatre and ran for 182 performances before going on tour. Following the tour and a summer hiatus, the production returned to New York's Broadway Theatre on September 14th, 1951 for an additional 67 performances.) ..... The play starred the legendary MAE WEST and featured STEVE COCHRAN, RICHARD COOGAN, MICHAEL EDWARDS, CHARLES G. MARTIN, JEFF MORROW, MIRIAM GOLDINA, WALTER PETRIE, MIKE KEENE, BLYY VAN and RAY BOURBON. (Note: MAE WEST is the only cast member mentioned by name in the program.) .....
