    Description

    Martha Stewart by Mail LE Smith 2 Piece Clear Pressed Glass 12" & 10” Stackable Cake Stand Pedestal Cakestand Cakeplate Cake Plate Salver Pastry Display RARE! Very HTF! Both measure approximately 6” tall. They are both marked “Martha by Mail” on the rim of the base. The only condition issues I see are a small chip in the underside of the edge of the 10” stand and a tiny chip that I can feel(more than see) on the inside of the rim of the 12” stand—see photos. They were created by L.E. Smith Glass Company of Pennsylvania in the late 90’s and were featured on the cover of the Martha Stewart By Mail Spring 1998 catalog. They were produced using the same method as the 1600’s therefore, you will see a few internal “air bubbles” from the creative process as would be expected. Per the glass maker these are not to be considered flaws. The stands are beautiful. Based on the chips NOT perfect but for age and item, they are great examples!! Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
