This is a rare December 1965 playbill from the Lincoln Center 20th Anniversary revival of the
RICHARD RODGERS and OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II musical "CAROUSEL"
at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C
. (The production opened August 10th, 1965 at the New York State Theater and ran for a limited engagement of 47 performances before commencing on a regional tour.) ..... The 60 page playbill measures 6" X 9" inches and includes full production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes, list of musical numbers and individual bios and photos of each of the leading actors but with the exception of the front cover, no cast photos. The playbill includes a full page ad for the Lincoln Center Revival recording of "CAROUSEL" on RCA Victor Records
..... CONDITION: This playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
