    This is a rare April 7th, 1929 "Playgoer" playbill from the Post-Broadway engagement of the RICHARD RODGERS and LORENZ HART musical comedy "A CONNECTICUT YANKEE" at the Garrick Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. (The production opened November 3rd, 1927 at the Vanderbilt Theatre in New York City and ran for 421 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred WILLIAM GAXTON and the cast included GORDON BURBY, JACK THOMPSON, GEORGE E.
