This is a rare four-page advertising herald (flyer) promoting the one-night, Post-Broadway engagement of the
JEROME KERN, GUY BOLTON, VICTOR HERBERT and CLIFFORD GREY musical comedy "SALLY" at the Auditorium Theatre in Emporia, Kansas on Monday, November 9th, 1925. (The production opened December 21st, 1920 at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City and ran for 561 performances before going on the road.) ..... The Original Broadway production starred

..... DETAILS: Advertising handbills and heralds were distributed or inserted into the playbills of other productions to help generate ticket sales for upcoming shows and events. This four page herald measures 5 7/8" X 8 1/2" inches and includes wonderful graphics and production credits on the front, seven production photos and promotional text on the inside pages and two additional production photos on the backside ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a fold across the middle, small tears on the outside edge of the fold, light soiling and minor edge wear, this rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
